How about hair dyes – are they safe? I am breastfeeding a 15 month old. Would I put him at risk if I dyed my hair?

Hair dyes with lead are a problem breastfeeding or not. Peroxide-based hair dyes probably not an issue for breastfeeding a 15 month old in which this is a small part of his diet. I would lay off any extra chemicals in the first year however.
