I just read your Huffington Post article about the toxic pesticide being sprayed on oranges in Brazil. Having just purchased a four-pack of Tropicana (two gallons) from Costco on Friday, I just noticed that it is a blend of domestic U.S. and Brazilian oranges. Should I drink this, toss it, or try to get my money back from Costco.

Thanks for your assistance.

Fortunately the levels detected so far have been on the low side, so its not an immediate health threat, especially to non-pregnant men. Carbendazim is associated with birth defects at higher exposures. FDA is now more aware so theoretically they will test more lots leaving us consumers with less pesticide and more confidence but only time will tell.
